Capitol Day in Oklahoma City held annually in February

Each year, families from across Oklahoma have convened at our state capitol to celebrate home education. This annual event is our opportunity to remind our elected officials that, as homeschooling families, we take our citizenship responsibilities seriously. It’s also a way to express our appreciation to our legislators for their service to our communities.

If you have not yet attended Oklahoma Home Educators’ Capitol Day, you have missed a fun and educational event that has a huge impact on our effectiveness in lobbying the Oklahoma legislature for home education.

This is the perfect time for you to bring the family to your state capitol and be the face of home education to your legislators.

Please register on the OCHEC site to receive updated information about this event each year.

Linda’s Note: I double check each alert for validity and type of response needed before sending it down the THE Loop.
